Very happy to announce that I have been selected as a finalist for the Mayor's Celebration of the Arts in the Emerging Artist category. Sudbury has a wealth of talent and creative individuals, and it is an honour to be recognized for my contribution to the arts. I am very thankful to the Sudbury Arts Council, and I look forward to the gala event on May 18, 2016.
Cute little miniatures have made an appearance in my studio - in preparation for the holiday season. These function as tree ornaments, or decorative miniature images. The images shown here will be available at the Art Gallery of Sudbury, and more are on the way for upcoming shows (Maker's Market on December 6 in Sudbury).

Big congratulations to Adrienne Assinewai-McGee, the winner of the most recent contest through my Facebook page (link below). Adrienne received a print of the custom illustration created which was based on her submission of one of her favourite quotes:
"On the ragged edge of the world I'll roam, and the home of the wolf shall be my home."
by Robert Service.
Thank you to all who submitted, and congratulations to Adrienne!
Recently I was fortunate to work with a client on a poster and promotional campaign for a marathon of music in Toronto. It was an absolute delight to work with Riverrun on this project - their creative vision and support of the work I produced was fantastic!
The event is coming up, and these are some extremely talented chaps. I encourage anyone in the area to check it out - it sounds like it will be an amazing experience!

If you were an animal, which animal would you be, and why?
Elissa Amyotte, winner of the Winter 2015 subject contest, submitted an idea for a custom illustration of a mink. "I'd be a mink", says Elissa, "[they are] petite, quiet, sneeky, elusive, and a little bit devilish".
Stay tuned for the next contest for your chance to win a custom illustration!
